Clothes for Mt.Elbrus: from a head to legs

Head:

• the good cap (it is possible fur)

• the woolen cap (it is better “a bell” with open face)

• Good high-altitude glasses

• Ski mask

Bust: the bottom clothes:

• Warm shirt

• For colds: the woolen sweater (or Polaire - lighter & warmer)

• For wind: combineson or jacket with a hood & trousers, Goretex

• Down combineson or jacket with a hood & trousers

Legs:

• cotton and wool sockets

• Warm trousers

• Surpantalon goretex

• Gamashi arond boots

• mountain boots for wintertime

Hands:

• pair of woolen gloves

• Pair surmoufles from nylon or goretex

• pair of silk gloves

• Down glaves

In yours back sac (70 litres)

• Sleeping bag, carrymat

• Toilet paper

• Matches, lighters

• Thermos (1 litre), flask

• Knife

• Polyethylene packages for preservation of your things

• Head lamp

• Individual medicines

In your bag of trip:

• Change of clothes

• Pair of trekking shoose (with antibot)

• Light shoose of trip

• Toilet package

 Antystolenpackage, at a collar or in a belt

• Passport

• Currency (mainly $),

• Personal documents

 Climbing gear:

- Iceaxe, pair of crampons, harness, ski pools, ring of a small cord (6-8mm, 1 meters), two carabins, an icescrew

For a ski-tour

- ski and boots for ski-touring with calltexe and ski knifes, transceiver
